Eostre is a Vanir Goddess, and the sister of Nerthus.
A fertility goddess, as all Vanir are, she is normally called upon to help spring growth in animals.
Since the re-establishment of the Bifrost for Midgard, she now lives on the middle realm, as a leader of the contingent of Vana who how reside there.
