Heimdall
Heimdall is the God who see's all, and who guards, and in the end; who protects. He was the guardian of Asgard, living at the mouth of the bifrost guarding the entrance to the realm of the Gods.
At Ragnarok, with his ability of perfect unlimited sight could see what Hel was trying to do. During the retreat, he stayed behind, and sealed off the Bifrost from the higher realms, preventing Hel's army from gaining access. During the fight, he also managed to kill Loki .
He is now widely acclaimed as the embodiment of sacrifice and is mourned by both Freya , who watched him make his decision during the retreat, and by Hnoss, Freya's daughter who reguarly stood watch with Heimdall waiting for the return of her father, the missing god Odr.
