High Risk Areas

We have identified a number of areas that can be considered as ‘High Risk’ of transmission. Where possible we have additional measures in place to reduce the risk of transmission for our staff, volunteers and customers.

Gate

Upon arrival on site, your first port of call will be the Gate where members of the event team will ensure you meet the entry requirements and book you into the event. They are also responsible for taking any payments made at the gate for entry.

Please do not leave your vehicle until you have been given the all clear by our event team. They may be wearing masks and gloves when performing their duties.

Game Operations Desk

The Game Operations Desk (GOD) will have frequent footfall throughout the event to facilitate various aspect of the game. This area is within the main building. We ask that those visiting GOD wear a mask (unless you are medically exempt) and sanitise their hands before entering.

First Aid

The First Aid post is situated within the main building next to GOD. You are required to wear a mask (unless you are medically exempt) and sanitise your hands before entering the First Aid Post. However, we understand that due to the nature of your visit to First Aid, this may not always be possible. In such circumstances, please follow any instructions provided by First Aid.

Make-up / Monster

Under most circumstances, monster briefings, etc. will be held outdoors in the courtyard and time inside the monster room will be kept at a minimum. The monster room itself is large, high ceiled, and will be constantly ventilated by open doors. Therefore, there is no requirement to wear a mask before entering the room, although you are required to sanitise your hands.

To reduce the risk of transmission, please bring your own weapons to use when monstering. Any weapons/costume provided by the monster team will be sanitised after every encounter when they are returned.

All tools for the application of make-up are sanitised/disposed of after use to reduce the risk of transmission from one person to the next. Additional measures may be implemented depending on the nature/duration of the make-up activities taking place.

If you are asked to wear a mask at any time in these areas, please do so (unless you are medically exempt).

Communal/Personal Tents

It is not possible for META Games Studios to impose restrictions/requirements on the use of Communal/Personal Tents. However, as a minimum, any communal area provided by META Games Studios will be supplied with hand sanitiser.

In all other cases the use of communal/personal tent will be dictated by the owner of those tents. Please follow any reasonable request by the owner.

In all cases we advise maintaining a good social distance wherever possible and respect peoples personal choices when it comes to the use of masks, sanitiser, etc. during the event.
