Svartalfheim Humans

The Humans upon Svartalfheim are used to harsh conditions and sparse food. They are a hardy people, who live in nomadic groups outside of the Svartalfar cities. They are not allowed in the Svart cities, and trade between the Humans and Svarts is strictly controlled by the Anvil’s of each city.

Kit & Makeup

As well as the information presented here there is a pinterest board directly dedicated to Lloss Alfar upon Asgard, created by refs, crew and players for inspiration purposes: Svartalfheim Humans

Clothing:

The wilderness does not leave much to be worked with. There are no fancy fabrics or bright colours out in the marshes and mountains of Svartalfheim. Most Humans wear fur, leathers and materials such as wool and linen gained from the sparse flocks of sheep and flax crops kept at their permanent settlements.

Any armour is scavenged metal from hunted Automata bashed together into pieces of armour. It is often worn with pride as part of general outfits, as well as for battle purposes.

Facial Markings:

None required, and not usually worn unless for camouflage whilst hunting.

Attitudes

Humans on Svartalfheim have a very practical outlook on life, and do not take stock in a lot of material possessions. As the majority of the population are nomadic through the hostile marshlands, mountains and sparse forests, they live light and quick.

Of the other races upon the realms, there are two views of Svartalfar; either anger for leaving them to die in the wilds, or they feel a gratitude for them for allowing them to live there at all. Even though the two races do not interact, most Humans stand by their chosen view with a political stubbornness.

In regard to Jotunborn, most Humans know them, live with them, or hunt with them, and so they are friends and battle-mates. There is some occasional distrust towwards Jotunborn for their old association with Hel, but this is not common. That was a long time ago, in a world they have not been to for generations. Upon Svartalfheim, life is hard, and having enemies who live with you just makes life harder.
