The Norns
The Norns are ancient goddesses, so were so connected to the magical rhythm of the worlds and all who live in it that they could see what has, is and will happen to all.
As their power grew it is said they left Vanaheim, and it is believed they reside at the base of Ygdrassil in order to weave the fates of all beings. They have not been seen since.
They are; Urd of what has past, Verdandi of what is, and Skuld of what will be.
