The gathering of the raw material from the woods, and the refinement of wood requires the use of the Prospecting skill.
Wood resource cards can be traded with by anyone.
Branch
Raw material
Branches are the first stage of the wood refinement process and can be obtained by harvesting wood from strong trees in the field.
Lumber
Worked material
Lumber is the second stage of the wood refinement process.
Treated
Refined material
Carved pieces of wood are the final stage of the wood refinement process.
The Cards
Field Card
Field cards are A5 sized Lammies which can be harvested as per the Prospecting skill. These Field Cards need to be taken to GOD directly after you return from the gathering trip, and exchanged for resource cards.
Resource Card
Resource Cards are what GOD hand back to you if you are exchanging Field Cards from gathering using Prospecting, putting useable resources into the game. NPC's may also have these for trade. Anyone can carry, use and trade with resource cards.
