The Orchard Keeper

The Ochard Keepers are a unique species of bird that live exclusively in the deep swamps of the Leechdens.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Orchard Keepers are large waterbirds, standing on average 5-6 feet tall. Besides their large size they can be identified by their white feathers covering most of their body and their sharp, spearlike beak.

Ecology and Habitats

Orchard Keepers cultivate orchards of Sleeper Trees in which the Orchard Keeper makes it's home.

Dietary Needs and Habits

The Orchard Keepers are ambush predators, living in symbiosis with the Sleeper Trees. Once a creature has fallen victim to the fruit of the Sleeper Tree the Orchard Keeper will strike. Feeding on their flesh, the Orchard Keeper discards the organs which nourishes the Sleeper Trees.
