A jovial guy with a sarcastic streak, and a love for big guns and giant explosions, he joined GBN for the thrill of seeing giant robots destroy each other.
Calm and analytical before a battle, but during longer a fight drags on, the more he tends to get tunnel vision and just enjoy the fight for what it is and abandon some of his rationality and common sense.

Personal history
A born giant robot nerd, Garrett has consumed any and every form of giant mecha places before him, be it critically acclaimed animation, or badly rendered CGI messes. If it has robots, he has heard of it, and probably watched it.
He messed around with the old system of gunpla duels using real model kits before moving on to GBN.
