Kiyomi McDaniel (a.k.a. Lufia)

Kiyomi is the co-founder of the Starlight Division, she is a veteran gunpla battler and a fierce friend.
Lufia: She is very tomboyish and is a skilled martial artist. She is straight-forward and honest with her feelings. She is loyal and trustworthy. She can be very rough with her teaching methods, but she is overall a very kind and caring person. She hates cheating immensely which causes some conflict between her and Shini.
Shinigami: Lufia has a split personality that she can switch with when desired. When she switches personality, her eyes glow with an otherworldly green light. Her voice also changes to a more feminine tone, as opposed to her usual rougher tone. This other self, which goes by the name Shinigami, and is a very childish and energetic individual. She is highly aggressive, both in getting what she wants and in combat. She is perfectly content with cheating and has a tendency to be cruel and sadistic in battle, however, the years have softened her up somewhat and she won't be pointlessly cruel to just anyone. She has a penchant for teasing others in a playful manner, but her past cruelty comes back in full force when she sees people treating others poorly.

Personal history

After the trouble with Flana, Lufia returned to her duties of teaching and running the Akita Martial Arts Dojo. With the rapid increase of interest in Gunpla battles, the dojo began offering classes designed around how to apply one's knowledge of martial arts to Gunpla battles. With her sisters' help, she even got a separate gunpla team made for just the students of her dojo to participate in once they had passed enough lessons, all while treating the younger children in her dojo as if they were her own kids. Although all of this work keeping her busy she still finds time to spend with her daughter and husband when he is around.

Andy Loveless

Childhood friends, she and Andy dated at one time, but quickly realized that it wouldn't work out. The two of them applied to the Gunpla Academy together to increase their strength and become better builders.

Ezekiel McDaniel

Lufia met Ezekiel during their time at the Gunpla Academy where they dated before she was taken back to her family's Dojo in Japan. Three years later the two would once again meet as he battled his way through the gauntlet that was her family. Through some luck she watched him defeat her father and that earned him the right to date her and eventually start a family.
