Orcs

The Orcs are a sentient nomads, known generally for their tendency for extreme violence. They make their home in any environment, and are very aggressive and generally mobile.

Civilization and Culture

History

According to legend, Orcs were fashioned by Fyerth, one of the Percanea, out of wood which he granted sentience to. Orcs made their homes in the forests until the Fire War, when much of the world was scorched. This lead many orcs to have a fascination with fire that drew them to an Orc named Tuur. Tuur was one of the leaders of the orcs during the Fire War who through his sheer force of will became the god of wild fires. Tuur's followers dominated the other orcs and are responsible for the current violent and nomadic life of the modern orcs. Some small orc tribes continue to live in a peaceful way, though they remain secluded deep in forests and jungles of Notria.
