Dæleon
A rarity among the weapons smiths of the Two Continents, Dæleon was a Human whose skills matched those of the famed Ujajoxoro blade dancers and blade singers. But he also incurred their ire, as he violated their rules.
When Dæleon began his career, under the tutelage of his uncle, he showed more promise than his uncle could ever hope to guide. Through a friend of a friend of a friend, Dæleon's uncle was able to secure him an apprenticeship among the Ujajoxoro. He trained at Viž Nuzo, outperforming all the other apprentices with his natural talent. When the apprenticeship ended, Dæleon opted to leave the dwarfs and return to his home. The Ujajoxoro reluctantly allowed him to leave.
Fairly soon after leaving the dwarfs, he came to work as the king's weapons smith. This was acceptable to the dwarfs. But when Dæleon learned he could sell magic swords and Champion's Swords on his own for a huge profit, he left the king's employ and went out on his own. He quickly earned a reputation as the smith who could make any type of weapon, if the price was right. This soon brought the wrath of the Ujajoxoro upon him, as they believe all weapons have souls and those souls call to their ultimate wielders and cannot be bought or sold. For a time, Dæleon had to maintain a fairly large security force to remain safe from the dwarfs' active threats.
The threats from the dwarfs died down after Dæleon failed to please Valak on the island of Bolo. This incident lead to the Lost Sword of Dæleon. But it also served to disgrace the smith at the height of his skill. While he made one more Champion's Sword after the incident, his tarnished reputation caused him to live out the rest of his days in the reclusive life of a hermit. However, it is rumored that he built one last blade, a Living Sword, that he imbued with his own soul upon his death. This elusive sword came to be known as Dæleon's End.
