Feathered Giraffe

This unusual creature appears to be a giraffe with three brightly colored and very large tail feathers. They stand nearly vertical, longer than the neck, arranged as a fan, each feather overlapping the others, each a different bright color. The colors vary by individual, but neon pink, blue, and green is fairly common. It's not entirely known what the feathers are for, but it it is believed the feathers provide some means of communication. Some scholars think they were deployed on a battlefield in ancient times and used to send messages instantly across large distances.
