In the beginning,
Éŗärpé created the cosmos and all the realms within. He then sent his children out to the multitude of Realms and worlds within these Realms and bid them to populate the realms and worlds wtihin in any manner they might choose.
To our world arrived
Koavurpé and his family. They created the creatures of the land, of the sea, and of the air. They created the peoples of the land and they created the peoples of the sea. Those of the land came to be known as humans and of the sea merfolk.
They taught humans the use of magic, and the merfolk as well. And the humans learned voraciously. Soon, the Wizard Kings began to overtake the gods in their strength of magic. And the gods became jealous.
The gods sought to stop the wizard kings. They confined the most powerful in pocket realms with no means to escape—for the gods were not strong enough to destroy them. Once the strongest were safely kepts away, the gods began to fight the lesser wizards. But even the lesser gods proved to powerful when united.
In a moment of despartion, the evil goddess of magic,
Dáblo, sought to sap the magic from the wizards. In so doing, she aborbed all the free magical energy in the world. Nearly all the magical energy in the world rushed to Dáblo, her body absorbing all of it. But in order to destroy it, she turned it all upon herself, returning herself and all the magical energy of the world to nothingness.
With that single action, the war was lost. The wizards relied on magic to bind to gether and power their entire society. With the magic gone, Their society quickly collapsed.
But the strongest of the wizard kings,
Žoax Ŗel especially, live on, through the rise and fall of civilization after civliaty, in their secured pocket realms, waiting for the return of magic, and for help in escaping their prisons.
We pledge ourselves to the release of Žoax Rel and his benevolent return to his rightful place as Wizard King, Brufran, and ruler of all the world.
