Essafah el-Hadid

The guildlord el-Hadid established himself in the great port of Ilien about a dozen years ago, importing exotic goods and silk from Khinasi to Ilien and the surrounding lands. He has expanded into the neighboring provinces of Roesone, generally through canny investments and partnerships with the local guilds. Today, el-Hadid's merchant empire includes Duerlin, Edlin, and Caercas. El- Hadid dominates Roesone's ranching and livestock trade. El-Hadid (MKh; T3; Br, tainted, 10) is reputed to be a man of elegant taste, handsome dress, and uncontrollable avarice. If there's a gold crown to be made, he wants to be a part of it, even if competitors have to be shouldered aside or intimidated. His base of operations is in Ilien, at the famous Port of Call Exchange.
