Life consumes life to create life. It is a precious vessel navigating an ocean of blood with my breath in its sails.
Brúda dwells in the Lake of Blood located at the foot of Mount Empyrean in the Plane of Light.
There are legends of unsuspecting adventurers finding ancient, hidden devices that transport them to the crimson waters of the Lake of Blood. Once there, they suffer immeasurable pain before death as they experience divine labor and drown.
A single drop of blood from the lake can grant a life free from disease and the effects of age (but not death). There are even older legends of Brúda gifting vials of it to her High Priests as rewards for their service. It is possible that this is how the elves gained such long lives.
Her priests and clerics claim that Brúda does, on occasion, manifest herself on Urn in the following forms during an eclipse:
- A newborn child that suddenly speaks to its mother.
- An enormous, luminous, red whale.
- A giant stork that cries tears of blood.
