Wind Elf

Also known as Children of the Night Sky, the wind elves were a peaceful, isolated faction of fae who established the city of Lyr long before The Kingdom of Westmark was founded. They were more tolerant of other races than the other Fae Children, the wood elves and dark elves. The trade routes they established would eventually become the road network that helped connect the various parts of the would-be kingdom. They were also known as sky elves, aery elves, or high elves.

• Their face was adorned with blue or white markings on the forehead.
• Usually brown, black, or white hair
• Many wind elves were scholars and bards, but ancient arcane power ran through their blood, leading to many sorcerers and wizards as well.

A sect of human mages infiltrated the political structure of Lyr, and in a two-day nightmare, eradicated the Wind Elves completely.
