Public Knowledge - Dinning & Nightlife
Merchant City resides along the northern side of the river, and acts as a constant reminder of the medieval history of Glasgow. A lively neighborhood filled with all sorts of entertainment, nightlife and dinning, it's eastern part constains pubs, a small amount of clubs and a larger amount of affordable, as well as at least three nicer, restaurants. Along Albion Street and two blocks on either side, this part of Merchant City is not the place to go for a hot and heavy night out on town, but a place for a nice dinner or a few pints with friends.
Insider Knowledge - Stories of Strife
Merchant City has long been a very attractive, perhaps too attractive, hunting ground. This particular part of Merchant City has been fought and bled over by the Sabbat when the sect held power, three packs perishing through the years due to interpack conflict when trying to wrest it from each other. The rooftops have seen a few Cainite battles, and the neighborhood houses a dedicated monomancy ritualspace hidden behind an otherwise nondescript greengrocer. Under pretense of unification,
The Swallows tried to unite Cathars of all stripes into a single pack in this particular city; and the Second Inquisition assaulted these peace talks. This great shame of Cathars still linger over this domain, earning it the mocking nickname of "the honeypot".
