Public Knowledge - History made manifest
St. Mungo's Cathedral is the most ancient building of Scotland, its first stone laid in the 12th century in the presence of a Scottish King. With the Scottish Reformation, it turned from the Roman Catholic to the Church of Scotland. As Presbyterians it holds no power to name Bishops or Archbishops, but its current minister, Andrew Johnstone, holds quite the public sway and regularly is consulted on all matters faith-related. The Presbyterian Evangelical Fellowship & Glasgow Mission also house large chapters here. The Cathedral regularly fills up with congregants, supports charity happenings and generally acts as a beacon of the community. In its adjoining parish house are found lecture halls, meeting areas and sprawling - if cramped - rooms.
Insider Knowledge - The Last Bastion
St. Mungo's Cathedral never had to leave the city or go into hiding.
The Dark Fathers Misbegotten claim domain here, with
Bishop enforcing his supremacy due to the fact that St. Mungos has been in the hands of the Sabbat. Despite demonic involvement, despite hunters and Camarilla - the Pack never wavered. Within its thick walls are narrow tunnels for meetings, and hidden in the tower is a small space for audiences. At night the church floor itself is taken over by vampires; and if they need larger space - the underground of the ancient Cathedral is at their back and call.
