Battle of the Lecher's Brother
The mighty empire of Riddeodor collapses. Half a millennium of rule from abroad is over for Eremere. Nine peaceful years follow, but it is not to last. The warrior chief Biddacrow finds his brother dead and his family disgraced; this dishonour must be repaid with blood. High Chief Ligdor will suffer for what he has done and for the death he has caused; Biddacrow would burn Heaven and Hell to deliver justice to him and his ilk.
The Conflict
Prelude
Nine peaceful years after the collapse of the Riddeodon Empire, a lustful man named Brodicai find himself in bed with the High Chieftess of Royceland, Alguith. Unfortunately, her husband Ligdor also finds them in bed; this results in the separation of Brodicai's head from his body. His brother, a neighbouring high chief by the name of Biddacrow, seeks to avenge him.
Deployment
Biddacrow strikes first and with great might. His troops are high in morale and high in number. Under Biddacrow's fierce military strategy, they are well drilled and highly capable fighters.
Ligdor is expecting a fight, but in his fury executed Brodicai so quickly no preparations are made. Many of his men are poorly equipped and recruited in a rush. They are no match.
Battlefield
On the battlefield, Royceland's army is predictably crushed. Biddacrow stands high amongst the body but cannot see in the coward Ligdor who remains hiding in his castle.
Conditions
The weather is typical of Royceland - warm but windy and clear skies.
The Engagement
The fight does not last long. All of Ligdor's forces are dead, wounded, captured, or fled. Biddacrow marches on towards the capital of Lake Town where a gruesome siege begins. After the execution of over a hundred captives, Ligdor is led in chains by his own people to Biddacrow. His sons are executed before his very eyes, before he himself is mutilated and killed.
