Sir Beryn Beresitch

Beryn Beresitch is the younger brother of Gregor Beresitch, the high earl of Arkenstead. He is the leader of the Redwoods, a mercenary group operating in Tembra.

Appearance and Character

Beryn is especially tall and brawny, dominating any room he stands in. He towers over both his brothers, and this and his elder age make him the de facto leader of the Redwoods in the eyes of external parties, though in practice this is not the case. He has a wild bushy beard and is generally jovial, though his words are marked with the ability to snap an enemy's neck at a moment's notice. Beryn is less temperate than his brothers, drinking and eating more heavily, and he has fathered three bastards with his paramour, Karisin.
