The Dwarven Freehold, a defensive pact formed against the threat of Karakar, is formed under the leadership of King Harlaw Metalbreath.
In 71 BTD, the Black Queen and her Karakan army began their assault on the Dwarven kingdoms east of the Corridor of Beards. In response, every dwarven king signed up to the Freehold, which coordinated resources to march against Karakar. Aside from the united thegndoms of Eremere, it was the most significant factor in the victory for the Forces of Light.
