A musical Thieves' Cant
Falsargot is a variation on Candezin, the language of the Musical Continent. As such, it utilizes nearly the same linguistic themes Candezin has. But it differs in a few aspects: its phonology and graphology.Phonology
One feature of Candezin is the almost musical production of the sounds that form words. Speakers of Falsargot give special attention to this feature, adding emphasis on their pronunciation and the forming of the Candezin words to actually convey a whole different message.Leraue as uel phiel. Niena man gheyare kone thun. This differs from a regular Thieves' Cant, which uses a sentence that is structured in such a way that speakers of the language find a different meaning than those who don't speak it.

Be very careful this day. The Inquisitors are here.

Graphology
Writers of Falsargot commonly shape their Candezin sentences in such a way that, to non-fluent people, look just like a type of font or style to write. But readers of Falsargot can distinguish hidden meaning in these extra attributes that accompany the written words. A slash added to an f might mean danger, and an extra loop in an O signifies important news.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
