Fraya Lorna was a Virkhagen human resident from birth, and was a proud loyal soldier of the guard, gaining the ranks from a fairly young age. She sought to follow in the footsteps of her father and mother who both served for the army of Virkhagen too, all under the watch of Hans, the ruler of the city. Her mother aided soldiers with ailments and potions, and even taught a young owl fellow all he knew about potion crafting and the art of healing, when he appeared in the city. Her father was the captain of the guard. The three of them, as well as the rest of the guard, worked in tandem to keep the city safe.

Fraya Lorna was a Virkhagen resident from birth, and was a proud loyal soldier of the guard, gaining the ranks from a fairly young age. She sought to follow in the footsteps of her father and mother who both served for the army of Virkhagen too, all under the watch of Hans, the ruler of the city. Her mother aided soldiers with ailments and potions, and even taught a young owl fellow all he knew about potion crafting and the art of healing, when he appeared in the city. Her father was the captain of the guard. The three of them, as well as the rest of the guard, worked in tandem to keep the city safe. One day, a request was made of the king to both of Fraya's parents. A mission that was initially secret until Hans called the town into recess for a meeting. An announcement that a group of soldiers and supporters had been sent out to snuff the end. Under the words of the End being too dangerous to be allowed to survive. The message was meant with silence. Either people agreed, or weren't brave enough to say they didn't.
The soldiers arrived back, in lesser numbers than they left. But they came with the news Hans had hoped for. The End was eradicated, and its people. But Fraya cared not for this news. She knew something was awry. Her parents had not returned from the long fought battle...
This was step one of her rise to power against Hans. The burning of an innocent town under the now Empire ruling Hans was the next and last straw for Fraya. She signed onto this for loyalty and strength of a proud nation. Genocide and burning of towns? All for the cost of her parents that weren't even given a memorial. And all the other soldiers...something had to change.
She started to spread word of an uprising. A rebellion. Led by her. Anyone who was scared to speak out was given a way to fight back against the rising tyranny. And so the rebellion began.
It was a long fought battle of multiple years. But a landmark battle by the name of "Fall of Jaisalmer" was one to note. It was the final death of Hans' closest general. But also the loss of one of Fraya's lives, as her closest friends were struck down trying to save her. She was taken away, by pure luck, as the rebellion retreated and hid. Fraya fled to Ephyrae. Its unknown what happened with her time there, but she was healed and offered support in her retaliation.
The next six months were hell for the rebellion. Hiding in hidden spaces. Escaping and running away. It was in shambles. Keiko- the potion brewer turned scout-master owl mentioned earlier, took the role of second in command when Fraya was around, having been close friends with her from before the war. And now he took the lead. Until Fraya returned, with reinforcements and support.
It took a few more months but eventually the war was won. Fraya struck down Hans, and the fight was over. What was left was a war-torn town. A city disliked by others despite the war being won- its history too soaked in blood. A reluctant new Queen in Fraya. And a lot of repairing to do.
Since the start of the SMP Fraya has been leading the reconstruction until the civilians were self-sufficient. She needed time to recover and sort things out. For weeks now she has been locked in her room, with Keiko being told that she is not to be disturbed, by anyone- including him- until she emerges from her chambers. Its...been weeks. Nothing. But Keiko and the town are too worried to disturb her now. She obviously needs the rest...
