Born to a Shade father and a Human mother, Salvatore never quite found his place in the world. After his parents were killed for their blasphemous relationship, Salvatore grew up in the slums of Virkhagen. As a half-breed, he had a weaker disposition, opting to rely on his wits and words instead of fighting to resolve his issues. After his parents untimely demise, Salvatore became one of the many street urchins. Here, he learned to be wriggle out of most tough situations and how to work with the little he had. As a cynical young adult, Salvatore wandered from place to place, searching for a purpose before finally reaching Ephyrae. Perhaps there would be something for him here.
