The Eternal Night is a time when the moon vanishes from the sky, casting Eterna City into an unsettling twilight. During these days, the city hides itself from the rest of the world, revealing secrets long hidden. Amidst this darkness, the Wandering Lights make their eerie appearance. Observers depict them as ethereal balls of light, drifting and flickering through the city streets. Near the Blue Lotus Hotel, one can often witness these ethereal lights gracefully hovering around the complex, their soft glow adding an enchanting ambiance.

According to the legend, these lights are not mere optical illusions or natural phenomena, but the lost souls of those who forcefully attempted to enter the Nexus. Driven by a desperate desire to live, these souls roam aimlessly during the Eternal Night, yearning to make another attempt to enter the Nexus. It is said that these ghostly orbs will try to snatch the bodies of those who roam the streets during this time. People who find themselves outside during the Eternal Night often feel an unexplained chill, as if they are being watched. The bravest of souls claim to have seen these orbs approaching them, only to disappear when confronted by light.

Another legend states that these orbs are punishment from Khetura himself for those who tried to exploit the Nexus's power. According to this version, these souls must now stand vigil over the travelers at the Blue Lotus Hotel, leading others to the gate but never able to enter it themselves. Only through an act of selflessness and remorse are the souls able to gain their bodies back.

Regardless of the legend, the Wandering Lights attract those eager to witness their ghostly glow. As the seven mark approaches, the city prepares with lantern festivals and nighttime vigils. Whether interacting with the Wandering Lights brings good fortune or ensnares those who do not heed the warnings, the truth, as with much of Eterna City, remains elusive.
