Station of Knowledge

The Station of knowledge is a living memory of The Zaa'ning people who send off a buoy containing information about a recently dead person, then is received here at the station, where the information can be accessed by a screen (visually or verbally) or by hologram.

Purpose / Function

To contain the knowledge of The Zaa'ning as well is the memories and experience of every individual. It is a living memory of the galaxy from the perspective The Zaa'ning as a whole and individually.

Design

There is a large circular room in the centre with 3 small circular rooms protruding from the central room. then on the 4th side is a circular landing bay, capable of holding 2 small craft.

Entries

There is a small shuttle bay capable of holding two small craft.

Contents & Furnishings

  • There are two drones

Alterations

The station is designed to have individual buoys (or pods) attach to the station and interface with the core to add new knowledge to it's memory.

Architecture

The Buoys are designed to spiral around each other on what appears to be rods or spikes which pratude off the main space station which gives the station a unique look.

Defenses

Shielding, scanning technology which can deactivate particle weapons, intruder alarms, cloaking technology (including individual ones for each probe which can escape and hide from unwanted attention).

History

With the makers called The Zaa'ning departing there home planet to seek a life without need or want, they created a Station of Knowledge to store what they have learnt and give the ability to others to learn from them and others that The Zaa'ning have learnt from. They hid it in a nebula to protect it and it's users from those who would mistreat the station.

Tourism

The greatest thinkers and knowledge seekers of Harkona go to seek out the knowledge and information within.
