The Qofuari
The Qofuari are a mammalian land-dwelling species with a semiaquatic evolutionary past, reminiscent of Earth’s river otter. Their lower bodies are horizontal, with four short legs and a vestigial tail, while their upper body is upright with two arms. They stand approximately a meter and a half tall, but can briefly rear back on their hind legs to gain an additional half meter. Their arms are shorter than those of average humanoids of comparable size, but longer than their forelegs and hind legs. Their hands have three fingers and an opposable thumb.
