Every year, the first snow of the year is marked by the First Snow Festival. The next day, is a holiday, everyone gets together and feasts. It is a time of celebration, but also of remembrance. People will go visit the graves of dead loved ones and some people take long walks in the snow. It is said that the ghosts of the dead are present in snow storms. Because it does not snow everywhere at once, the date varies from place to place throughout Miller Hall.
