heavers
Heaver is a word that designates several species of Aetids that have been domesticated to serve as heavy lifters. They are draught animals as well as a food source. The most common is the Heerus (Aetidias domesticus), coming from the great plains. It is a heavy beast that helps in the fields, in merchant transportation, or that is raised for its meat and eggs.
In the south, Noomas (Aetidias deserticus) are smaller and used as personal mounts, and are very resilient for long travels in dry countries. However they do not like the climate in Boomal's coldest regions.
