Let the soul reach the night

For all comes a time when the journey ends. Grim is the absence of the loved one when Paal calls them to the afterlife, but don't feel sorry for them, because they will always keep a look on you from above, and in the peace of heavens, they will wait for you to come and reunite until the dusk of times.

And if you feel the sorrow of passed losses, just raise your head, and look at the large, white eye travelling in the night sky, looking down on you and carrying your love to the dead. In the kingdom of Paal, there's no more harm or sorrow.

With fire, we let the soul free to leave its earthly envelope. Burning incense guide them upwards, to the skies. But if the soul is heavy from a life of misdeeds, debauchery, faithlessness, then they are trapped down to earth, and it will be a long time of atonement before the soul is called to Paal's realm. For them who are filled with Goruug's wickedry and evil won't be accepted up there.

Now that the moon is up, it is time to lit the fire, and I invite you all to pray and pay respect to your loved one. We will pray towards Paal, and give our hope for their soul to be welcomed with honor.
