Beham, God of Ash

No one knows when Beham was born, but when everyone saw him for the first time he looked about 9 years old. Beham acted as an assistant to his father, Leabrunn, for most of his life. He aged slowly for a god, which was awful for him, those who were born years after him were already adults, meanwhile he was still just a teenager.
Eventually, Beham became an adult and he started trying to do various godly duties, but there was nothing to do, what use was a god of ash? All he did was follow in his father's footsteps, never getting to do something for himself, this wasn't his father's fault, this was just the role he had to play.

Beham started reading tales of his father from the old days, killing hoards of spirits twice his size by himself, he decided he wanted to be like him, a legendary warrior, so he grabbed a sword, and started searching. He found many spirits, and he took them all out in just a couple of blows.
Beham wasn't a strong god he was probably the weakest, but even the weakest of gods can kill a few dozen spirits, so he needed more. After more searching, he found a town forgotten by the rest of the world, Baffenburg. Baffenburg was nestled in between Kalmoi, Skogenburg, and Norrtoi, no one ever visited it, but when Beham was exploring, he felt a call to it.
He talked to the villagers, they talked of a tree spirit in the woods, it was of great power, they told him not to step foot in the woods, no matter how powerful he thought he was. He didn't listen to these warnings and entered the forest. No one knew how long Beham was dead before being found, some guess days, others think only hours, either way, the god of ash was dead.

For a week not a single fire could start, Leabrunn was mourning his only child's death.
He searched far and wide for the spirit that did this, but he could not find it, it was still out there, crawling around, Leabrunn knew, He would find it.
