Leabrunn, God of Fire, Revenge, and Redemption
To Kurhad and Muderia their first two kids were... black sheep, to say the least, so they were hoping that Leabrunn would bring honor to their family, and he did not disappoint. He was treated as the golden child, so as you can imagine, that went to his head.
Leabrunn was a violent child, he went around killing spirits on a whim, when he was a toddler he choked out an Oni, and the older he got the more violent he became. In his teens, he was slaying whole hoards of spirits.
He was overconfident and obnoxious, and although he didn't face consequences for his actions yet, they would come eventually.
Now a young adult, Leabrunn was more arrogant than ever. He heard of a legendary spirit living in the forests of Jamori. After a bit of flying around in Jamori, he found him, a 40-foot-tall lanky creature, that appeared to have no arms. Leabrunn laughed, he knew this would be an easy fight. He rushed in, flaming halberd drawn, he went in for a slash, he heard a blade connecting with flesh, and then he heard something thunk down next to him, he looked down to see what it was, and he was filled with shock and horror, his entire left arm was cut off.
He looked up at the beast, he didn't understand, how could it have done that? The spirit looked down and smiled at him, and he saw a mouth made of blades. This spirit didn't need any hands to fight.
Leabrunn fled the scene, but he didn't go back to the heavens, he couldn't, not after that.
He flew down to the fields of Tachihon, and he was looking for a renowned prosthetic maker, eventually, after losing a lot of blood, Leabrunn crashed next to the prosthetic maker's house.
When Leabrunn woke up he was sitting on a bed, his arm was wrapped up.
Lebrunn instantly filled with rage, he needed to find and kill that blasted spirit, it was an embarrassment to his entire lineage.
He got up out of his bed, found the man who had helped him, and demanded he make a prosthetic for Leabrunn. The old man, scared for his life, began to work on a Prosthetic made from a mimosa tree.
After a day of work, the man finished the prosthetic. Leabrunn had the old man attach it, and he flew off.
He flew straight to Jamori, he found the spirit instantly, it was fighting a group of soldiers at the border of the forest, and it seemed as though the spirit was attacking a village. He charged up a massive attack with his Halberd, fire wrapped around it, going blue from the extreme heat, once he was sure he was ready, he flew to the spirit, striking it straight on the head, once the strike landed a massive wave of fire burst out of the weapon, it turned the spirit to ash, as well as the soldiers and the village they were defending.
Leabrunn got up and saw the carnage he created, burning bodies surrounded him, and this was all his fault. Once again, Leabrunn fled the scene.
No one knows where Leabrunn went after that, some say he went back to the heavens, others say he secluded himself deep in the mountains, but no one knows for sure, all we know is that he was gone for a long time, almost a whole decade, but when he came back he was a changed man, almost the exact opposite from who he was before. He wasn't nearly as violent, he preferred trying words, but he wasn't afraid to fight if he had to.
The first thing he did when he returned was plant a blazing mimosa tree at every spot he had damaged due to his arrogance, the village in Jamori got the biggest.
Leabrunn also returned with a child, the god of ash, Beham, there is a lot of mystery around who his mother is, people have several theories, but no one truly knows.
often people do not choose to worship Leabrunn, instead, Leabrunn chooses them, reaching out to people who have done wrong, or have been wronged, looking to give them redemption and revenge, because he knows what it's like. Once they succeed, they can choose to lose the power Leabrunn gave them or guide others chosen by Leabrunn to their goal.
Leabrunn will remove his chosen's power if they stray too far from their goal, they get the powers back if they return to their goal. If a chosen dies with their powers Leabrunn honors their death by planting a blazing mimosa tree, which over time, has become his symbol.
