Matosk, God of Food and Celebration

If there were two things Valjordians loved more than hunting and fighting, its partying and eating, but for a long time they didn't have a god to embody that, that was until Kurhad and Muderia had their first child, Matosk.
Matosk was born at the beginning of Wintertreffen, the biggest celebration In Valjord, and it seemed as though his very existence made the celebration better, history books say that that Wintertreffen was the greatest of all time. It's said Matosk would age 4 years every day of the week-long celebration, meaning he was about 28 at the end of it. After that sightings of Matosk were everywhere, from Taratemki to Tachihon, it seemed as though Matosk was partying everywhere.

Matosk doesn't have a very good relationship with his parents, Kurhad and Muderia are about hard work and dedication, and Matosk is the exact opposite of that.
Even though his parents don't like him, most Valjordians do.

For a while, no one could rival Matosk in partying, everyone passed out much before him, and some got close, but no one ever beat him, that was until one day he was in Buriku, celebrating the new year, when this woman challenged him to a drinking competition, of course, he accepted.
The drinking game went on for hours, and barrles of wine were run dry, until eventually, Matosk lost.
After that, the same woman would keep challenging him to drinking competitions, and he would continue to lose.
Eventually, he asked her who she was, and that's when he learned that there's more than one god of celebration.
Her name was Sakona, and she was the goddess of wine and celebration.
Matosk would see her wherever he went, even if he went to the smallest of parties, she would be there.
Each time they would get to know each other more and more, and eventually, they just decided to get married.
Their wedding was a party in the heavens, it's said that they partied so hard it caused a disastrous thunderstorm to appear in the mortal world.

Sakona and Matosk chose not to have any kids, as they both didn't like responsibility.

Matosk is mostly worshiped during parties alongside his wife, they do this to get better food and wine as gifts from them, and to be blessed by their presence.
There are also several party cults of sorts, these people party for weeks at a time, never stopping to rest, they do this as big rituals to summon Matosk and Sakona, about halfway through the event they take the two people who are partying the hardest and worship them as though they were Matosk and Sakona.

A lot of restaurants and homes have statues of Matosk, which depict him as a much more serious god, these statues have a little bowl at the base of it, and chefs put various spices in the bowl and light it on fire, they do this right before they begin to cook, once they're done cooking they put a bit of the food into the fire if the fire grows, the food is blessed.
