Sakona, Goddess of Wine and Celebration
Long ago, a spirit named Doku Gaiyuu tried to kill The Man of The South by poisoning him, this failed miserably, all the poison did was make him very intoxicated, which did nothing for Doku.
Doku, seeing that his plan failed, slinked back into the shadows. But there was still a drunk god on the loose.
During his drunken stupor, he did a lot of... interesting things, but the important one was that he drew a face on a melon, threw up right next to it, and clumsily walked away
During the next few days, the melon began to change, the god's vomit acted as divine fertilizer, it grew, and those who saw it said they could hear something inside of it. Eventually, the melon finished growing, and when it was the sound inside of it grew louder and louder, people heard someone screaming, witnesses broke the shell of the melon and looked at what was inside, it was a woman, and that woman was a new god, Sakona, goddess of wine and celebration.
Sakona takes a similar approach to her husband when partying, she shapeshifts to look like a mortal, but she uses her godly powers to become the life of the party, whether that be by bringing the best food and drink, or beating everyone in drinking competitions.
Unlike her husband, Sakona only parties in Buriku, this is because of a party she attended that led to the destruction of one of Kalbur's biggest temples, which he blames her for. Because of this, Kalbur has promised to ruin any party she attends in Valjord.
Sakona's symbol is a snake, this is because one of the more popular wines in Buriku is made by drowning and fermenting a snake. This "snake wine" is said to deter spirits, and even stop them from possessing those who drink it. Sakona's other symbol is that of a grape, for obvious reasons.
Sakona is mainly worshiped during big celebrations with her husband Matosk, but you can also find statues of her in wineries, vineyards, and even potion shops.
