The product most desired by new business owners on Boscage 4 is a limited liability guild charter to protect themselves when just and fair, and to ward off creditors or vulture money lenders. Limited Liability Guilds give owners limited liability which means they may only be taken to the courts for gold they've invested into the guild, but no more, unless deemed otherwise say for incompetence or malpractice. Unlimited liability means that creditors can attempt to take an owner's personal assets and wealth, not just what they invested into the guild. While not always a perfect shield, limited liability companies do offer protection more than half the time, which is better than nothing, and certainly better than losing your family fortune if avoidable.
