Gutterbatt Tryouts - This is it! Gutterbatt season is going to be starting in a few weeks, so now is the time to try out for your favorite team! There is nothing like some friendly competition in the name of fun and physical activity. I am going to try out for the Newtown Tigers because I think they have the coolest name. I don't even know what a tiger is, but I bet it would be good at Gutterbatt. Anyway, wish me luck! And good luck to anyone else who tries out this year!
Book Launch - Rogue's Gallery: Unicorns for Sale by Isabella Amari - Wow! This is a great new book series from Leadsheet Publishing the same publishing house as the Professor Bizarre series! It features a smooth, charismatic rogue who breaks hearts and steals artifacts from under the nose of near-do-wells. I really like how this new author takes the time to describe the main character's incredible outfits!
Beast of Rain Green Sighting - I heard about a group of friends who claim they saw the Beast of Rain Green! They were out for a walk on one of the foot paths in the Bramble. They said they were hanging out by one of the foot bridges and just definitely hanging out and weren't up to anything in particular when they saw a large bear with jet black fur sitting by a stream. They said they only saw it for a moment, because they ran away when it turned to look at them with a pair of glimmering white eyes. One of the youths told me that they felt an unshakable sense of melancholy when those icy orbs locked with theirs.
