Bracken Rag - Bloom Issue #4

Festival of Light - I hope you're all ready to put on your finest dancing pants and spend the night twirling and sweet stepping to the finest tunes in all of Brackenport! The Festival of Light will be on Wind 3rd this year, which will be the shortest night of the full moon this summer. Many people celebrate the Triumphs of the Silver Lady or the Lightkeeper during this grade festival. It is said that in life, the two were close friends and sealed away a deep and ancient evil before they worked with the other Founders to build the city of Brackenport. I am really excited to see what the Museum of World Wonders does this year for the festival. Last year their lanterns were shaped like wonderous desserts!
Gutterbatt Updates - So, I know you will all be surprised to find out, but I did not make the team for the Newtown Tigers Gutterbatt team. Although I do know what a tiger is now. They are very cute, and also very dangerous! I will be continuing to support the team by attending games. I have also found that my soup cart is quite popular and I also gave out all of the copies of the Bracken Rag too! The games on Satyrday afternoons have been really exciting to watch. Go Tigers!
Break-In at Presents of the Past - There was a break-in at an antiques shop in Silverbridge. I spoke with the owner, Saber, who has been collecting and operating the shop for about two years now. They had said that the thieves only stole a few pieces of jewel and the money from the register, but made a big show of smashing up the place pretty bad. Saber had started collecting antiques to try to leave more about themselves and other artifacts from the time of the Ravening Wars. They said it would take a few weeks to make the nessicary repairs and get the shop and and running again. Saber had said that they were just grateful that no one was hurt during the break in since happened at night when the shop was closed.
