The Pigeon Report - I have started to go back to the Seaside plaza fountain at sunset to count the pigeons before they take off for the night. I still haven't figured out where they go at night. Brilliant Blooms - For anyone seeking enchantment and elegance, now is a wonderful time to stroll around Granite Avenue in Wynn Village. I don't take the soup cart with me up there (I don't have the permit for that area) but it is worth leaving the cart behind to take in the brilliant blooms and see the sights of the well manicured gardens up that way. A personal favorite of mine is the old Bumbershoot house. Their collection of hanging uscalias is second to none. The flowers range in color from stunning oranges to rich purples to creamy whites. Truly lovely. And the shape of them! They look like tiny umbrellas! How charming! Definitely worth checking out while they are still in bloom.

New Shop - Puzzles and Pieces - A new shop opened in Newtown! It seems to have jigsaw puzzles mostly, but they offer a special service where there can make new pieces of a puzzle if you lose one. It seems awful handy if you seem to be missing a piece to something important!
