Council Of Hammers

The council of hammers is made up of three parts.   Chair: While the head or chair of the council does not have to be the current leader it always has been. They serve as the main authority of the council and does indeed have ultimate say over its decisions.    The other two positions are Sage and Keeper. These two are often family members of the current chair or trusted collogues.    Sage: The spiritual guide to the chair. Dwarves have a strong tie to their elders and gods. While they are not as religious as some other races they draw a lot of purpose and strength from this part of their history. It is the sages goal to help maintain and offer advise on how to move the nation forward while following the gods will.    Keeper: Keepers some say are more respected then the chair and/or royal family. They hold a role that works closely along side the sage. While the sage helps protect the will of the gods the keeper helps protect the history and traditions of the dwarves. Keeping old traditions alive through stories and parables many of these stories can be lost to time if not written down or passed on.
