Decks composition and use

Rules applicable to all decks

Number and type of tokens:

A Deck is made of 52 tokens, the nature thereof being determined either freely by the players (customized decks), by the players according to standard composition rules (standardized decks), or randomly according to standard composition rules (random standardized decks).
In addition, standardized decks only comprise tokens related to base faction agents, and not to extended characters.

Drawing the tokens from the deck:

At the beginning of the game, the player receives 2 tokens from the deck for free.
From second round onwards, he has the ability to draw 5 tokens on each turn, at any point in time during his turn, and to retain a maximum of 2 out of the 5 tokens drawn.
Retaining a token costs 1 Action Point, and the tokens which are not retained are put back at the bottom of the deck.
The maximum number of tokens which can be stashed (retained but not put in play) by the player is 8 tokens, so if a player having already reached this limit wants to draw and retain tokens, the player shall discard the corresponding number of tokens. Discarding any number of tokens costs 1 Action Point.
Putting any token in play costs 1 Action Point, but in case the player wants to put more than one token in play to the benefit of the same Agent (for an example in order to enable and then upgrade an ability), then the second token and all subsequent ones will cost 2 Action Points to deploy.
