A device used to capture and store millions of souls. It is able to use the souls' energy and convert it into spells, stronger than everything the world has seen for the last one thousand years. If it were to fall into the wrong hands, the world as we know it could be considered doomed. It was created by Acererak, who tried to use it in Chult, to test its powers. He was stopped and the Soul Monger wasn't seen since. It is unknown where it has been for the last 20 years. Only a lich could use its immense powers, but most of them respect this artifact too much as to play around with its unique level of energy.
