The Forsaken Isle of Baranabus

This large island was a dumping ground for many of the casualties of the Great War and the casualties of the Mad King Baranabus’s uprising that nearly tore apart the unity of world. Those that have not forgotten its existence dare not go anywhere near the island. The isle is a festering wasteland of decay that few travel, those that would dare try to loot the isle never return and many that wash up on its shores die due of disease or starvation. Not even ships sail close to this land unless to unload contagious dead near its putrid shores in hopes they will wash up there and add to its many carcasses. The miasma radiating off the island is usually enough to deter any semblance of life from accidentally arriving on the island. Some passing ships that have let their curiosity get the better of them and stray just close enough to view the rotting grounds of isle swear that they saw silhouettes roaming the area. It is unknown if the dead truly walk this land, but nevertheless, it is rumored that those cursed with such unlife lie in waiting on its forsaken shores.
