The Lion’s Den

This small patch of marsh land is the grounds of the Supreme Order of the Lion’s Shadow. In center lies their indomitable fortress, the Lion’s Maw. Built from the stones and idols of their enemies own fortresses, the knights were formed on this land by the first kings of each country to keep the peace in Laurona after the end of the Ancient War. Almost every country in Laurona is guided in some form by a knight of this order, and all countries respect these knights. The knights have a standing that is nearly that of king yet they rule over none. They are tasked with keeping a watchful eye on the world, protecting the peace above all else.
