Deira

Deira is a small independent Saxon kingdom in Britain occupied by the Angles.
Originally incorporated into Malahaut in Cumbria, Deira was established by High King Vortigern and granted to Cyning Eosa, the son of Saxon warlord Ætheling Horsa. Eosa ruled until his death in 495.
Armies from Deira and nearby Nohaut often raid other northern kingdoms in Cumbria.

Deira is the largely forested coastal kingdom in Cumbria. It shares a forest border with Nohaut and has no significant castles or cities.
