This article is about the adoptive father of Sir Artaire. For the adoptive grandfather of Sir Artaire, see Sir Hellerak of Lighthorne.   Pelledak was a Logrian knight from Wuerensis and adoptive father of Sir Artaire of Idmiston. He was the third lord of Lighthorne.   Pelledak was a rebel against High King Vortigern, and participated in four battles under High King Aurelius Ambrosius Pendragon alongside Sir Rolant of Fishlake. He died in the Battle of Conisbrough.   He traded the lives of his daughters Favour and Orcade to Tydfil the Witch in exchange for producing a male heir.   His coat of arms was a silver rampant regardant wolf on an erminois field.
