Glossary:

Becoming: General term for the transition between being alive and being a Veneeri.
Dominion, Divine: The purview of a particular God. It's the part of the universe that a God has control over.
First Life: The term for the life held by a Veneeri before their Change.
First Tribe: The tribe a Veneeri was originally born to.
God: A Divine Being. Refers equally to Aetheri and Netheri.
Tether: A link connecting the Gods to each other and to their Divine Dominion. Also known as Thread.
Tribe: A physically distinct group of people, usually sharing a culture and geographical home, that are descended from the Netheri.
Veil: The division between the mortals and the Gods.
