The Great Purge

Said to be 1000 generations ago, the exact date is unknown.

Long ago, it is said that the giants once reigned supreme. Lording over all corners of the land. Buildings tall enough to touch the heavens marked the strong holds of each of the giant races. Forrest, Ice, Hill, Desert. Grandfathers of engineering it is said they are said to be.

Then it is said that in their pride, the ground split open to curse them. Fire spewed from within, and the earth shifted to the form it is now, only stopping after knocking the last of their obelisks from Bryn.

Now, the surviving generations have turned their backs from the world of engineering, and for the most part the entirety of the rest of the world.
