Radiation Dragon

Radiation dragons are huge creatures that fester on crashed spaceships. While they are capable for flight in space and will attach a spaceship for "food", generally they are rather lazy and will use a starship that is still emitting engine radiation as their home. They will venture out, gain information from other dragons (they are rather friendly to each other, but don't give out their "home address") and are also able to use enhanced computer skills to glean news (cultural, social, financial, etc) from the terminals before power runs out. They have the traditional bite, bite, claw of a dragon, but their breath isn't fire. It's an invisible cone of radiation which has effects similar to and no less dramatic than that of other dragons. It is invisible and soundless, but devastating in its effect. Radiation dragons are evil and hoarders of spaceships, the more radioactive the better. Typically they will have multitudes of spaceships and parts laying around their lair. Their lairs can be found in either natural caves or large artificial hangars that have been appropriated for the purpose. They are intelligent, most especially about computers, but are have a shorter lifespan than other dragons and may have physical abnormalities caused by the excessive radiation in their bodies.

Generally will appear as purple dragons, similar to other colored dragons, but occasionally will have abnormalities caused by severe radiation.

Genetics and Reproduction

Most can reproduce either with their own or other colors of dragons.

Generally found in spaceships that have crashed and have radiation leaks.

Origin/Ancestry

Radiation dragons are descended and related to the other colored dragons of the universe. At some point they became irradiated and enamored with spaceships rather than simple gold as their hoard.
