Obsidian Curses

Rrkh was given the ultimate punishment by their people. Aside from being locked into a meteorite, it consisted of seven curses. These curses are sealed with seven runes in the celestial language. The translations of the runes are "Traitor", "Damnation", "Pain", "Eternity", "Loniness", "Death" and "Enmity". With the knowledge of celestial grammar and knowing the order of the runes it is possible to guess the intended punishment: "The wicked traitor shall suffer for eternity pain and loneliness or die in a world of enmity.

Effects

They curses have the following effects:

• Attacks everything on sight.
• Itensifies the regret of the target.
• Cause ever increasing pain
• Prevents the victim to die by hunger, but magnifiying the feeling of hunger.
• Clouds the mind, prevents the understanding of any communication
• Slowly killing everything surrounding the victim
• Gives a menacing aura

The group needs to either have experts in magic theory or must ask the mage of the town

Spreading the curses

The curses was engraved on the outer layer of the meteorite, which is made of obsidian. Shortly before the meteorite hit the ground, most of this outer layer was blasted apart. Every shard hitting a living creature cursed it with one or several of those curses.

Breaking the curses

For any creature but Rrkh it is sufficent to remove all shard from its body. For Rrkh it is not that easy, since their body was etched with the runes of the curse. To break the curse for them it is necessary to dispell each curse and heal the wound caused by the etching.
