Kem Badihr
The city-state of Kem Badihr was not always called that. It used to be called Ikh Yadoff, or "Golden Home". During the Giga-Dragons' reign of terror, however, the Black Giga-Dragon (although it was not yet a Giga-Dragon then) conquered Ikh Yadoff and forced the dwarves to craft jewelry for it. Many dwarves were killed as punishment for failing to appease it. In the following decades, no other Koglodur nation dared come to Ikh Yadoff's aid, and when the Dragon-Killers Armies appeared from other continents, the army that defeated the Black Giga-Dragon remained unaware of Ikh Yadoff's existence, causing a misunderstanding that led the Yapithilans, who lived at the foot of the mountain range, to believe Ikh Yadoff had been wiped out by the Black Giga-Dragon.
It wasn't until over a hundred years later that elven historians discovered the city still existed, although by that time, Ikh Yadoff had been transformed: the Black Giga-Dragon's blood had contaminated the groundwater, causing decades of sickness, before the dwarves' bodies finally adapted, creating a new subrace, the Acid Dwarves. Their bodies were not the only thing that was changed, however: furious at the other nations of Koglodur, including the dwarven and elven ones, for not coming to their aid, they renamed their city to Kem Badihr, which literally translates to "Fuck Off".
In spite of their - actually quite justified - xenophobia, Kem Badihr trades a lot with other nations. They use the endless flow of acid for smithing and crafting jewelry, and their creations are considered the best of Koglodur (their paintings, however, are considered far too grim for most). In turn, they import a lot of foodstuffs: fruits and ocean fish sell at a premium, the more exotic the better.
Their relationship with Yapithila has also stabilized, mostly because of the monuments Yapithilans made to them. Kem Badihr jewellers and Yapithilan glassblowers collaborate on projects frequently, and students are often exchanged between the two nations.
Their relationships with the other nations of Koglodur, however, remain terse, and they are often hostile towards members of the Shitwatchers, as they hold a grudge over the Dragon-Killer Armies never finding them. As such, the Shitwatchers have marked Kem Badihr an "Area of Concern", which has not been helpful for normalizing relationships with the other dwarven and elven nations of Koglodur, which are part of the Shitwatchers.
